Gurlibil – turtle earrings designed by Yawuru artist Amanda Rose Lee.

Amanda likes to depict gurlibil laying their jimbu (eggs) which they do in Mangala Season, around December-March.

Handcrafted from metallic turquoise hand painted acrylic, and a dark blue organic circle and stainless steel post. They are mirrored and shine with colour.

Approx. 5.5cm in length.

Nagula Jarndu (Saltwater Woman) is a not-for-profit 100% Aboriginal owned and managed art centre with a focus on contemporary hand printed textiles.

The earring designs have come from those textile prints.

The earrings are laser cut acrylics that are hand painted with stainless steel findings.
