The Tyilpirtityarti - Snake earrings by the late Miss Chiguna.

The late Miss Chiguna was a Walmajarri woman from Djugerari in the desert country in the East Kimberley. This design shows the Tyilpirtityarti (snake) from her Country. With her family's permission, we continue to honour the legacy Miss Chiguna left through and celebrate her life through her art.

Handcrafted from bluegum wood with a stainless-steel post.

Size: Diameter approx. 5cm.

Nagula Jarndu (Saltwater Woman) is a not-for-profit 100% Aboriginal owned and managed art centre with a focus on contemporary hand printed textiles.

The earring designs have come from those textile prints.
